After Chris Brown's outburst on Good Morning America this morning, he tweeted the TRUEST statement (even though he deleted it). He said Charlie Sheen gets praised for his foolish behavior but they won't let up on something that he did two years ago. And he's RIGHT! For the past few weeks, audiences have been obsessed with Charlie Sheen and his idea of #winning. This sex crazed man has been fired from his job, lost custody of his children and confessed to being a drug addict and has become an icon. Mechandise in support of his behavior is being sold, he broke the record for most twitter follower in a day all because he's foolishness has made him an icon.
Some spammer tweeted me and gave me something to think about. Even though I blocked the page, the tweet asked how could I "compare Chris Brown to Charlie Sheen? I should get punched in the face and see how I feel." That would've been a valid point but the tweeter left out an important fact. Charlie Sheen was arrested in 2009 for threating to kill his wife...at knife point. What's the difference. Brown has taken anger management, served his time and asked for forgiveness. Audiences have a problem with letting people's person business be just that, their personal business! It upsets me to see the media and court of public opinion antagonize him. Get over it! He is human and struggles through life just like the rest of us. Instead of beating him down, we should encourage him to continue to fight through this unjust industry. If you're criticizing Chris Brown but constantly using the hashtag #WINNING, you should re-evaluate your criticism. His album F.A.M.E. is in stores today!!! A little leak last week ;-] allowed me to hear it already. It is pretty good compared to other products we've been sold recently. I'm not one of those C. Breezy obsessors like most women under 30 but I support his music. I should get paid for this...GO SUPPORT IT! #teambreezy!!!
(Hate that I had to use a TMZ clip...but!)
